1. INTRODUCTION


AiJ Labs, owner and operator of Magic Reel Studio ("We", "the Service"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you use our Service available at www.magicreelstudio.app.


If you do not accept this Privacy Policy, you must not use Magic Reel Studio.


This policy complies with Argentina's Personal Data Protection Law 25.326 and is designed in alignment with the principles of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union and the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD) of Brazil, to ensure coverage across all markets where we operate.



2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT


2.1 Information you voluntarily provide:


  • Account data: Full name, email address, password (encrypted).
  • Business information: Business name, description, industry/sector, location (optional), logo, brand color.
  • Billing data: Payment information (processed by Mercado Pago and/or Paddle; AiJ Labs does not store card numbers or complete financial data).
  • User Content: Photos, texts, logos, and descriptions you upload to create videos.
  • Communications: Emails, support messages, and feedback you send us.

    • 2.2 Automatically collected information:


  • Access logs: IP address, browser type, operating system, date and time of access.
  • Usage data: Actions within the app (videos created, features used, templates selected).
  • Cookies and similar technologies: To maintain your session and remember preferences. See our Cookie Policy.

    • 2.3 Information we do NOT collect:


  • Real-time location data (GPS).
  • Browsing history outside of Magic Reel Studio.
  • Device contact information.
  • Microphone or camera access without explicit consent.


    • 3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION


    We use the collected data to:


  • Service operation: Create and manage your account, process subscriptions and payments.
  • AI content generation: Your photos, texts, and business data are processed by our artificial intelligence providers to generate videos. See section 5.
  • Service improvement: Analyze usage trends, identify bugs, optimize features.
  • Communication: Notifications about your subscription, service changes, and responses to inquiries.
  • Legal compliance: Comply with applicable laws, respond to legal summons.
  • Security: Detect, prevent, and address fraud or illicit activity.
  • Marketing (only with your explicit authorization): Send you promotions or content about our service.

    • We do NOT use your data to:


  • Profile your purchasing behavior for third parties.
  • Sell or share information with advertisers.
  • Create demographic profiles for third parties.


    • 4. DATA PROTECTION AND STORAGE


    4.1 Security:


  • In transit: All data is transmitted via HTTPS (TLS 1.2+).
  • At rest: Data protected with AES-256 encryption.
  • Access: Limited to authorized AiJ Labs personnel.

    • 4.2 Data retention:


  • Active account data: While the account is active.
  • Videos and generated content: While the account is active.
  • Billing and transaction data: 5 years (fiscal/legal requirement).
  • Access logs: 12 months.
  • Post-cancellation data: 90 days, then permanent deletion.
  • Express deletion requests: Processed within 30 business days from the request.


    • 5. DATA SHARING AND SUBPROCESSORS


    AiJ Labs does not sell your personal data to third parties. To operate the Service, we share data with the following subprocessors under confidentiality and data protection agreements:


  • Supabase — Database and storage (USA): Account data, photos, videos, logs.
  • Vercel — Frontend hosting (USA): Access data, web traffic.
  • Anthropic (Claude) — AI script generation (USA): Business texts and information to generate scripts.
  • ElevenLabs — Voice synthesis/narration (USA): Text script to generate audio.
  • Creatomate — Video rendering (Netherlands/USA): Photos, scripts, audio and music URLs.
  • Mercado Pago — Payment processing (Argentina/Global): Billing and transaction data.
  • Paddle — Payment processing (UK/Global): Billing and transaction data.

    • We may also share data in the following exceptional cases:


  • Legal requirements: If law, a court order, or government authority requires it.
  • With your explicit consent: In any other case, only with your authorization.

    • What we do NOT do:


  • We do not sell your information to data brokers.
  • We do not share with advertisers for targeted advertising.
  • We do not share with social networks without your consent.


    • 6. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS


    Since our technology providers are located primarily in the United States, your personal data is transferred to and processed outside of Argentina. These transfers are made under standard contractual data protection clauses with each provider and each provider's own privacy policies and certifications (e.g., Supabase SOC 2, Vercel SOC 2, Anthropic).


    By using Magic Reel Studio, you accept these international transfers under the terms described.



    7. YOUR RIGHTS


    Under Argentina's Law 25.326 (and in alignment with GDPR/LGPD for users in other jurisdictions), you have the following rights regarding your personal data:


  • Access: Request what personal data of yours we have stored.
  • Rectification: Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion: Request the deletion of your personal data.
  • Portability: Receive your data in structured, machine-readable format.
  • Objection: Object to the processing of your data for certain purposes (e.g., marketing).
  • Restriction: Request that we restrict the processing of your data under certain circumstances.

    • To exercise these rights, send an email to aijlabs.ia@gmail.com with the subject "Personal data request", indicating your full name, registered email, the right you wish to exercise, and a description of your request. We will respond within 30 business days.



    8. MINORS


    Magic Reel Studio is not directed to persons under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it immediately.



    9. COOKIES


    We use cookies for the operation of the Service. For detailed information about the types of cookies we use and how to manage them, see our Cookie Policy.



    10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY


    AiJ Labs reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy. Changes will be notified by email with at least 7 days' advance notice. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect implies acceptance of the new policy.



    11. GOVERNING LAW


    This Policy adheres to Argentina's Personal Data Protection Law 25.326. Any dispute will be resolved before the Ordinary Civil Courts of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Argentina.


    For users in the European Union, this policy is designed in alignment with the GDPR. For users in Brazil, it is designed in alignment with the LGPD.
